Allele Advisors was founded by Charles Fraas in 2010.

Charles started his career at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Consulting, spending 13 years in various consulting practices including: Bankruptcy and Transaction Advisory, Retail Industry, Supply Chain, Marketing Analytics, Strategy and Operation and several Technology teams.

Charles left consulting to join 1800flowers.com (NASDAQ: FLWS) and held several roles in the company including Sr. VP of Improvement, Sr. VP of Operations and COO. During his 5 years at 1800flowers.com he oversaw all of the operations including call centers, distribution, transportation, sourcing and procurement, manufacturing, customer database marketing, and florist operations and oversaw a very successful turnaround that improved EBITDA by 300%. Fraas left in 2010 to start Allele Advisors, a boutique consulting and restructuring firm.

Charles has held various restructuring roles including CRO, interim CEO, Interim COO and Chancery Court Trustee (Delaware). For the past 8 years he has dedicated himself to assisting and supporting companies through financial distress and bankruptcy in the following industries: Manufacturing, distribution, retail, technology, services, real estate brokerage, law, aviation / MRO and healthcare.

Charles has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in East Asian Economics from Binghamton University. He is also a Black Belt in Six Sigma.

Amy brings 25 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Senior Talent Advisor. Amy has demonstrated success across multiple Human Resources disciplines as a leader in corporate in-house functions as well as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) client delivery models and has managed large Talent Acquisition and HR support teams. In her various positions in global Fortune 100 organizations, Amy has proven successful in providing transactional and strategic insight, together with supporting C-Suite executives, Corporate Finance, Sales & Trading, Corporate functions, Engineering, Sales, Product Marketing, Finance/Accounting, Technology and Legal.

She has been recognized as a Business Partner who establishes relationships, streamlines processes, delivers best practice solutions, and assists in building a high performing organization. She is also a results driven, relationship building, and highly organized Executive Recruiter who strives to identify key strategic and innovative ways to source, hire, and retain top talent in a fluctuating global marketplace.  

In her current role as the Head of HR & Talent for Allele Advisors, she is responsible for executive search and staffing solutions. Amy successfully traverses industries and skill sets to deliver for clients.

Amy has a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University where she studied Theatre Arts and Social Sciences.
